My dear fellow residents,

Welcome 2012 and goodbye 2011. Well a year has gone by so quickly. It is time to reflect what has happened for the year and what will be our resolutions for this forthcoming year. Since the inception of the new management committee the first priority of the day was to ensure all the amenities are in working condition. The swimming pool leaks were fixed and new lightings were installed.

The broken down retaining wooden wall adjoining to the Eurasian club was rebuilt with a concrete wall. Next, the Squash court which was out of service for almost a year was revamped with a fresh new court after ascertaining there were no more water leaks from the roof. The internal road traffic safety system was spruce up with speed bumps to curb speeding, pedestrians walkways defined etc. All the internal lightings were converted to lower energy sources from a twin lamp to a single lamp source.

Fixing water related issues was the main task throughout the year. The issues range anything from the rooftop water tank leaks to even uncovering water supply being piped to the adjacent Eurasian club! This was further compounded with the unusual heavy rainy season and we had to address the dengue issue by ensuring there are no pools of stagnated water.

A new Resident Manager Quah came on board in June. We also seeked some outsource part time labourers to assist us in undertaking minor repairs and maintenance which were clearly lacking.

As we forge forward, our main area of focus will be to revamp the underground car park. We will also be looking ahead, into saving funds for the sinking fund which will enable us to carry out things like repainting the condo etc.

We will be holding our annual general meeting within the first quarter of the year. We would like to invite all of you to participate in this meeting. We are also looking for new committee members and would like more residents to join us in order to give us new ideas in making this place our dream house.

Finally, we wish to thank all residents for your cooperation, kind valuable feedbacks and friendly gestures in our condo. We may have taken some unpopular actions BUT we want to assure you that such decisions are taken from the interest of your safety and well being for the overall interest of all the residents. 90% of the residents promptly pay their maintenance fees which are a big plus in helping us to run the place. Thanks are also rendered to the staff who have served us well in maintaining the place. Last but not the least, the committee members who unselfishly sacrifice their time and effort for the sake of keeping the place in order, a big "Thank You."

The committee would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone "A Happy, Healthy, Peaceful and Prosperous New Year".
